Wedding Reception of Islandbabe & Malion Scott

She had thought for sure that he would have been repulsed and left her.
Feeling his firm grip rip into her arm she turned breathlessly looking
into his face stunned as his fingers gently slipped down her cheek.
Wiping away her tears and pain, a sign that everything would be fine.
Showing her the strength that she had been falling for since that night
he resisted her charms in tavern.

His embrace warmed her, as she
laid her head on his shoulder. Wrapping her arms around his waist she
held on tightly. Glad for one moment to have his heart, and kindness all
to her own selfishness. With out all the family involvement; with out
the worries of who would be judging them. She wouldn’t break this
embrace. She wouldn’t end this moment.

Her tears did dry, and
she enjoyed the compassion Hein was giving her. Only making her long
more to be with him. Eventually lifting her head looking deep into his
eyes. “Thank you Hein.” she felt like
kissing him, but refrained assured some were watching by now. A peace
falls over her now. Laying her head back on his shoulder and just
holding him. So long now had she kept that confession hidden from the
world. Tried to use her own strength to hide from it. To have him stand
by her, hold her when she needs to finally be weak, and to still not
fear her. Very comfortable she now felt, with her weaknesses exposed.
Vulnerable, but able to stand a moment with this truly great person. Jah
blessed her with many things in life. Meeting him was only one of.

Lethion had only just worked out that the long awaited marriage
of Islandbabe and Malion had already started. He wriggled impatiently as
his carriage took forever to reach the sight of the reception. He had
been told of the event by a friend before...but as usual the election
tornado had swept him away for some time before he had touched back down
to reality.

Finally the carriage reached the Queens Robes Ball
room. Stepping out of the carriage Lethion grinned. He suddenly realised
how late he was, unsure of the most inconspicous way to enter such a
grand event...He tiptoed around until he saw a servant. He whispered to
him to give his presents to the new weds once they had a spare moment.

He
had decided that the best present would be for malion a few bottles of
some fine mead...



For Island he had brought some flowers and
champaigne for them both to celebrate later...





Shoeing the buttler off...he entered the
hall...He was surprised to see so many people.Grinning he walked around
and waved at the people he knew...noticing frosty he walked over.

"Frosty,
my lady...Its fantastic to see you...can I ask you for a dance?"

As Lady Marzena peered into his eyes, Heinrich felt as if his entire
soul had been opened up by her gaze.
He searched for words to say,
but could think of none. All he could do was stay in place and absorb
the Lady’s divine scent and calming touch.
After a short moment, he
slowly raised her head from his shoulder, stared into her eyes once
again, and kissed her.
The feeling of their lips meeting was almost
overwhelming to Heinrich, and it took all that he had in him to keep his
composure.
The two seemed to be locked in that position for an
eternity…

Their lips separated and their eyes met again, showing
the same look that
they had exchanged from across the ballroom only
minutes ago…

After a moment, Heinrich spoke up…

So, My
Lady… shall we… go back inside and join the wedding again?
I
probably need to be getting that wine back to the others at the table,
as
I said I would… They are waiting on it, I imagine…

Revan oohed and aahhed at the firework presentation. It was absolutely
splendid, it really was, and was fitting to mark the joining of two such
hearts.

It was at this time that she snapped out of her gaze and
looked around her. Her jahfather was just here a moment ago, and she
walked around the other guests. Many of them she had either just met or
did not know. Her eyes searched for him until she found him with
Marzena.

Revan stopped moving completely and couldn't help but
stare. She knew it was rude ... and she didn't mean any offense.
Marzena had been the one to invite Revan along, saying it was not a
problem to stop on by the wedding and reception. She'd just ... never
seen Lord Heinrich with another woman before. Ever.

She sighed
as she looked on, and took a sip of the wine in her goblet. Well, who
was she to judge? At this point, she didn't have a quarrel with the
woman at all ... and Lord Heinrich was a grown man, more than capable of
making his own decisions. Hadn't I left my original family because
they did not let me choose who I wanted to be with? she thought to
herself.

Well, as long as he is happy, she thought, and
they treat each other right. Revan took another sip of wine and
realized that she was out. Pity. She'd have to go and get some more.
She headed off to the bar, perhaps someone would join her for a drink
there ...

Listing her head to his touch she was pleasantly surprised in receiving a
kiss. His lips rather than spark a terror of passion soothed her very
being. As time stood still an their bodies twined she was left looking
deep into his eyes. The tensions obvious, but more over the connection
felt to her depths.

Her arms pull her slightly closer to him the
chill of the evening air drawing her to his radiant warmth. As he spoke
her eyes couldn’t change. She didn’t want this moment to end. Such
honor and love he was showing her. Shaking off the frozen time she turns
looking to the ball. Her chest feels with a deep breath raising as it
fills. Still not releasing him from her arms. “I
suppose we should. Although Hein my body and heart wants to remain here
locked with you. My mind and conscious thinks of those of our friends
with in.”

Their bodies slightly part she wraps her arm
tightly around his again. A sense of calm she hadn’t been blessed with
for some time. Laying her head on his shoulder she followed him until
just before the entrance then raised her head again. Holding it up high
hoping none had suspected what they were up to. Clearing her throat. “Wine sounds grand, but I think I should eat something
first. I’ll go see what is on the food tables.” she smiles
squeezing her arm around his slightly smiling softly at his gaze.

As Heinrich approached the bar and the food table with Lady
Marzena on his arm, he bumped into Revan…

Well, hello again
Revan. Are you enjoying yourself? Um… Sorry for the little holdup… You
see, I bumped into Lady Marzena while I was heading to get the wine and
she just had to show me around the gardens, outside…

He
signals for the waiters to bring more Chardonnay to their table while he
looks over the food display with Marz.

Walking towards the bar Frosty had stopped when she heard a familiar
mans voice, turning with her wine glass in hand a look of surprise
crossed her face as Lethion approached her.

Giving Lethion a warm
smile she places her glass down on the table..."I would love to
dance." Slipping her arm through his as they walked onto the dance
floor...

Smiling happily, Silvermane glances around and nods to the people around
him as they come and go sharing a word with them. Lord Heinrich....Lady
Marzena...Lady Frostylilacs...Lady Revan...Lady Suan...Lady
Allikath...Lord Lethion...Mfe...Rook...Starv8...Shadowcaster...Llop and
Lady Caitilin...Lady Saphirra...Raffiox...Fate...Sogon...and Lady
Madrugada.

Listening to the music strike up a slow tune,
Silvermane places his glass on the table they are sitting at and
standing, bows to his beloved.
"Lady
Trisalene....may I have this dance...?" he asks as he gazes into
her sparking green eyes. Trisalene stands elegantly...gracefully. With a
curtsy and a flash of her dazzling smile, she places her hand on
Silvermane's extended arm as they walk to the dance floor.

Turning
to face each other, Silvermane places his arm around Trisalene's
slender waist, holding her gently yet firmly as he extends his other arm
to clasp her hand and pull her slightly towards him. The rhythm of the
music fills their senses as he leads her around the dance floor. Her
lovely dress swirls as he delicately sways and turns Trisalene to the
feel of the beat.
Her smile enraptures him as they glide and twirl on
the floor gazing at each other softly, eyes locked...her twinkling
emerald greens to his sparkling clear blues. He raises his arm with her
hand in it as she elegantly passes under and returns to face him.
Pulling her back into his arms, a little closer, his heart beats faster
as a smile forms on his lips and he whispers a few words in her ear, "You dance divinely...my love!"
Opening their
stance, Silvermane leads Tris a few steps to the right...then turning
her quickly as her dress flares and stepping beside her he guides her a
few steps backward...then forward again. Closing their stance he draws
her back into his arms. Holding her tightly he places his cheek on hers
and slows the tempo to feel her close to him....his heart beating in
response to hers.

As the music subsides, he slowly dips
her...gazing at her...and as he raises her back into his arms...and
their faces near...he kisses her lips softly.

Smiling...he takes
her hand and slowly leads her back to their table.

Marz stuck with Hein into the reception again blushing as she realized
he spoke of her to Revan. Blushing further red as her lips tingled, and
body burned from their time in the garden.

Turning and taking a
platter she began to shove bread, strawberries, and blueberries upon it.
Trying not to look directly at anyone her eyes fall upon the wedding
cake. Seeing it had been ravished already she gasped slightly. “Seems someone wanted the sugar rush.” she
laughed a bit Looking around for the culprit she couldn’t see the
individual she turned back to the group with her platter full.

“Hail Revan…” she smiled a slight nervously. “Yes fresh air was needed. I was slightly light headed
from to much wine so quickly. I feel much better now though.” she
smiled more looking to Hein with a grin. Nodding and hailing silver as
well as he made his rounds. She chuckled a bit at how well he handled
this event. Hearing the music change she was smiling while looking for a
seat to sit down and eat at. Needing to absorb some of her past wine.

Malion squeezed Babe's hand gently as they
walked from behind the curtain to the dance floor. He looked into her
sparkling, brown eyes as they began to dance. He is completely oblivious
to the world around him, he see's only the beautiful woman he can now
call his wife. He feels like he is dancing on clouds. When Malion hears
the music pick up he spins Babe around the room. As the music finish's
he dips Babe then pull her back into his arms.

Malion is brought
back down to earth as he hears Lem run over, shouting and pointing out
the window. He takes Babe's hand and gently kisses it before they walk
out to the patio to watch the magnificent fireworks. He turns as Babe
does to greet Tris and Silver. He smiles as Silver gives him a manly
hug. I know, she's so good to me. Malion smiles at the
two beautiful cups Silver hands them. He feels truly blessed at all the
wonderful friends he has.

He moves about the room still holding
Babe's hand as they greet all they're friends and thank them for coming.
As they look at all the wonderful gifts from everyone, Malion spots a
very familiar figure lurking around the cake. He acts as though he does
not see Mfe trying to sneak a bite.

As Malion gazes about the
room, he remembers his gift. He spots Lem and gives him the signal. Lem
smiles crookedly and then runs out the door. He returns a few minutes
later with three small puppies following behind him. All three had bows
around their necks, two were blue as they were males and the other one
was pink, as she was a female. Malion smiles at Babe as Lem and the
puppies approach.

As the fireworks come
to full light I hear a familiar voice coming from inside her laughter
fills the room.
Marzena seems to be having a wonderful time with the
other guest when I hear a thumb I turn trying to see what has taken
place when I see Silvermane and Trisalene standing behind us.

The
fireworks come to an amazing glory of an ending both Malion and I turn
to Silvermane and Trisalene giving them hugs.

As the fireworks end, Silvermane faces Babe and
Malion...smiling he hands them their gift...This is from me as Tris has
picked her own gifts for you.

"May you fill these cups every
morning with your love so that each of you may drink of each other's cup
throughout the day if you shud be apart...and refill them with your
love as needed."

Silvermane hugs Babe and Malion and
smiles..."May you remember this day forever...may your love flourish and
grow in each other...and ride through the sunshine of the happy
days...and the storms of those less happy. May your future bring you all
that your hearts desire together and individually."
Bowing to the
two of them Silvermane smiles again and stands beside Trisalene as he
gazes at her and his eyes share the love he feel s for her with his
friends.

As I stand marvel at the
beautiful gift I listen to Silvermane his word bring a smile to my face.

We then return into the hall the orchestra plays the
song “The Woman in Me”, all the couples take to the floor to slow dance
with their partners and some find partners to join in the dancing.

As
Malion and I are about to step back onto the dance floor I see Saph
enter I rush over hugging her. In a low voice I say: “I am so delighted you made it.”

I look at the two hobby horses grinning reply:

As I give Saph another hug for her wonderful present I
notice Brother Rook enter the Ballroom and politely excuse myself.
Malion and I go over to greet him we exchange handshakes with him.

I
speak up saying: “Greetings Brother Rook,
thank you for the perfect Wedding.”

As I look into the envelope my eyes water, I look back
up to Brother Rook. I wait for Brother Rook to finish, I then reply: “You giving us these, performing Baptism and our
Wedding is more then we could have asked for, thank you and yes we shall
wear them." As the attendant walks by
we each take a glass of wine and cheer to our health.

As our
crystal glasses are raised in the air tapping one another in my
peripheral view I see Raffiox walk in as we take a drink of the wine.
Raffiox walks over salutes then shakes Malion’s hand. I look at Raffiox
snicker reply: "Evening happy to see you
made it and no need to salute me here but greatly appreciated.”

and then shakes the hand of Malion:
My sincere
congratulations my dear friends .I hope that u prosper together in our
fair city.
I am a little shy that couldn't get u any proper gifts for
the occasion and i promise u i'll make it up to u guys. It is a very
happy occasion for me to see anyone of my friends getting married and i
would to the drink to that and to ur health.

Listening to Raffiox words I smile to him reply: “Your presence is enough of a gift or maybe a few extra
push-ups might do the trick.” As I
giggles I see that Llop and Caitlin have arrived.

Excusing
ourselves we walk over to greet them. I extend my hand to Llop in doing
so I catch Caitlin and we hug. Then I turn to Llop and give him a hug,
smiling I reply; "Your presents are
exquisite to say the least, thank you both so very much.”

and Caitilin walk in the reception and are amazed at the many things
prepared. In a table nearby, where gifts are exposed, Llop can see his
presents have been delivered. He checks them:

followed Mady into the ballroom and starts to sweat profusely. He
looked nervously around for awhile and parted with Mady soon after.
Working himself towards his sister, he pulled her aside and revealed the
present he brought.

As James pulls me aside I wonder what he is
up to before I can utter a word he speaks;
"Remember you gave me
three carvings sis? I have three for you too. One representing you, the
other Mal, and the last one is for your future child."

James
smiled nervously and wondered if his sister will accept his gift.

I reply; " I do remember
quite well I love these I know exactly where I shall place them.”

As we embrace I see my husband coming over to us I
show him the presents his face glistens.

I hear someone enter the
Ballroom behind me as I turn I see it is my dear friend Allikath. I
watch her as she stumbles to a chair I can see in her face that she is
not well. I walk over to her say; “Oh my
dear friend you should have stayed home we could have connected later.” I then ask; “May I get
you anything?”

Alli smiles thinking how glad she
is she was able to be there for a small part of it.

I reply: " Thank you I am
truly happy and I know that the years to come shall be filled with love,
joy and happiness." "I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful man at
my side."

As they both wak inside, her eyes widen
at the sight of this grand ballroom, so elegantly decorated. She
recognizes familiar faces and nods to them gracioucly, before
approaching the happy couple.

She gives both of them a warm hug
and whispers "Well, that was by far the most touching weddind I have
ever witnessed, I want to thank you for letting me have the honor to
participate in it. My dear friends, may Jah always guide your path and
bless this love that you share, and help it grow even more. May you
always feel as happy as you do today".

I chuckle at Mady’s word reply: “Let you be part of it how could I not include you, you
are one of my close friends, it was my pleasure to have you there to be
apart of it all. To have you take the time to share in our most joyous
moment and thank you.”

The
orchestra starts playing an upbeat song I look to Mady ask: “Care to join us on the dance floor?”

Malion and I quickly take to the floor dancing around
like young pups when I catch Sogon enter.

Watching him I notice
he has headed to the table where all the gifts have been placed and
notice him mumbling to himself. I smile at the thought of what Sogon
might be thinking and Malion and I continue to dance.

around, he sees Islandbabe and Malion dancing along with the music...
"What a lovely sight to be...", he mumbles... Continuing his search, he
found the table where all the gifts are... He make his way and place his
little gift attached with a note at the corner...

On the note,
he writes...

Inside
the box, is a small magnetic couple keychain.

The Orchestra takes a break Malion and I take the
opportunity to mingle with our guest. We first stop over by the gift
table read Sogon’s note I smile to Malion as his gentle gray eyes smile
back at me. Malion and I walk hand in hand over to where Sogon is
seated. As we reach him I reply; “Thank you
Sogon I can see you gave a great deal of thought and compassion in your
presents to us, they will come in great use.”

Watching Mfe sneak
around the cake, I smile to myself knowing I promised him one of the
smaller ones to him. For him to eat it all if he wished. As I turn
back I see Lem coming with three small puppies my eyes beam with delight
as I see them. I turn to Malion ask;
“Those for me?” I continue: “One for each of us!” My
eyes meet Malion’s I wrap my arms around him kissing him tenderly then I
turn to Lem who is standing beside us with all three puppies. I bend
down kiss Lem on the cheek, ruff his hair then ask: “Lem you are going to live with us aren‘t you?” “I
want you to.” “That is if you will accept me as part of your family.”
“You will have your own room and” …… I
turn to Malion smile then back to Lem…“if
permitted would like to adopt you.”

Archywald was even more overwhelmed by all
the beauty he encountered at the party. All the decorations were
perfectly in order and the cake made him drool though he knew he
couldn't touch that yet.
Then he joins the queue with people waiting
for their turn to congratulate the happy couple. When it's his turn
Archywald drops the large bag that he was carrying on his shoulder. He
opens it while explaining......

I don't know
if you have any plans on arranging your things when you go to live
together but I just couldn't help making you something in my new
workshop. I hope you like it.

As he pulls a big roll out
of the bag he unrolls it to reveal a rug.



After hugging them both he moves on to sit at a table
with the other guests awaiting all the nice food.

Sighing
slightly he thinks this is the most wonderful day he has ever witnessed.

As I am hugging my
husband thanking him for my wonderful presents I hear foot steps coming
up behind us. I turn see Archy, I smile as he approaches carrying a
large container.

We stand listening to Archy and watch him pull
out the beautiful rug that he has brought with him.

Archy, Malion and I take one another hand we both reach for Lem's hand
at the same time the three of us walk over to our seats for the dinner
is about to be served. I stand tap my crystal wine glass bring the
attention in my direction, say: "Malion and I
would like to thank all of our friends for coming to support us and
being there when we shared our love bringing our two lives to one.
Please enjoy the feast that is coming your way. And my deepest thank
you to all of you for all the wonderful presents."

I continue; "Now enjoy the
food then we shall commence to cutting the cake after we all have had
time to consume our meals." I chuckle:
If Mfe has left any.

Finishing her food Marzy looks around. She seems her good friend Frosty
being led around by Lethion. She can not but helps and giggle at the
two. Many couples spinning around and enjoying their time and Even to
Marz the cake is looking delicious. She was thankful that she just ate
the sweet and juicy fruits.

Feeling better she looks around
seeing Silver and Trisa as well spinning around. She can not help but
smile broadly at them. Much of Somerset was changing, and she might note
seemingly for the calm and love. Two features that all would enjoy. The
festival had gone very well and smoothly. Much brightness in their
futures she leaned up against Hein.

Recalling their moment in
the garden she quickly beams with a huge smile. Watching as the
reception continued on, and as it should for her good friend. She
wondered how well their honeymoon would go. Snickering rather loudly at
this thought.

After walking around the room greeting
everyone, Tris finally comes before Babe and Malion and presents to them
her gifts.

She comes to Babe first and opens her hand, revealing
a pendant.



"This pendant was worn by
my dearest… and one of my only… friends of the past before I came to
GC... She was a strong and beautiful woman, and she never gave up on the
call of her heart. She never backed down to a challenge. She never lost
strength or resolve against any odds. Yet when it came to what she
loved, she had a heart as soft and true as ever I have known. She was
always there for me… You remind me very much of her my dearest friend
Babe….. And so I wish you to have this. Let the memory of the spirit I
keep with this pendant be with you and remind you always of the strong
beauty of your own spirit…"

Trisalene smiles warmly,
embraces Babe as she hands her the pendant, and kisses her cheeks. She
then turns to Malion and pulls out another piece of jewelry from the
small pouch she carries.



"My dear Malion. This is
also a gift from my past… It was given to me be a sailor in remembrance
of a short trial we shared. He was a kind and gentle man under the
guise of a thick-hearted man of the sea. He was quiet and watchful… and a
bit of a bull in a china shop it I might say so.” Tris
laughs, “But I owe this man my life… I want you
to have this ring. Let it remind you of the sea from whence it came and
of our friendship."

Tris smiles and hands Malion the
ring, embraces him, and kisses his cheeks.

“Now then don’t let me keep you two… Mr. and Mrs. Scott.”

Tris
winks and hurries off to find Silvermane.


Upon
reaching him, Silver takes her hand, kissing it, and asks her to dance.
She smiles and takes his hand.

Trisalene dances with Silvermane,
smiling all the while as she gazes at her love and lets him glide her
across the floor. She sighs softly, effortlessly moving to his lead. As
he leans her down and kisses her lips, she blushes softly and returns
the sweet kiss. They then return to the table.

Revan grinned at Heinrich. "Yes, I
am having fun. It's quite a party ... and it seems I'm not the only one
who is enjoying themselves." She leaned in closer to her
Jahfather. "Really, I am happy for you. All that I can ask for
is your happiness, and it's in the way you look at her that tells me
that she is something special to you. You deserve that and much more."

"Hello
Marzena, I am glad that ... the outdoors ... was able to help you.
Good to hear that your head is clear, now perhaps the night can go on
and you can enjoy yourself." Revan noticed the present that
Malion gave to Islandbabe. "Ooooh, look at the pups! So
adorable!" She smiled as she sat back and enjoyed the wine and
the rest of the festivities.

Lem brought in the three
puppies and smiled at Babe. Since the time he had come to Gloucester he
had learned to love Malion and Babe. He hadn't really thought about what
would happen once they were married he was just happy that his two
favorite people were getting married. Now that he had been asked the
question, he realized that he couldn't think of anybody else he would
rather call mom and dad. He smiled up at Babe as she kissed his cheek
and nodded his head.

Malion smiled as Babe brought up
adopting Lem. He thought it was a great idea. He watch's as Archy
unrolls the beautiful rug. He shakes Archy's hand and smiles as Tris
approach's them. He watch's silently as Tris gives Babe the beautiful
pendant. He smiles as Tris turns to him and hands him the handsome ring.
Thank you Tris. I will always cherish this. He slides
it onto his right ring finger then hugs Tris. He turns to Babe, takes
her hand and Lems then walks over to the table and pulls out her chair
for her to sit. He smiles as he watch's Mfe stuffing his face with cake.

As I go to take my
seat I see Trisalene coming our way, I nod and smile to her. I walk
around the table in order to greet her properly. " Hello Tris, are you having a good time and did the
ushers bring you the correct food?:

smiles warmly, embraces Babe as she hands her the pendant, and kisses
her cheeks.

I stand listening to
her words as tears fill my eyes I know that for her to give me
something so precious and meaningful I shall treasure it too. Not only
because what it means to her but what it means to her and myself for her
to give it to me.

After Tris finishes I find myself a lost for
words, I return her hug and kiss upon her cheek…. Then and only then do I
reply: Tris I will….. *looking at the pendant*….
I will treasure this ….* I look up into
her eyes*…. I thank you from the bottom of my
heart for such a valuable gift.


As Tris moves over to Malion I stand in awe of the gift and listen to
her as she speaks gently to my husband.

Putting her one hand on Lethions waist and taking his hand with her
other. Her eyes glistened, giving him a tender smile as he lead her
spinning and twirling around the dance floor, lost in the music Frosty
was surprised at how graceful he was.

Marzy
left the quartet and mingled over to find some champagne. Catching her
friend on the dance floor still she grinned and smiled as it did seem
they were having such a good time. Marzy trying to lay low having caused
a tad bit of confusion now surely.

Heinrich thanked Revan for her kind words and walked over to Lady
Marzena, who was pacing slowly around the ballroom floor. He cleared his
throat and spoke to her from behind…

My Lady, would you like
to dance?

Turning to the familiar voice of Heinrich a smile falls her face as she
nodded her hand. Holding up her hand, and then not waiting for even a
moment as she stepped light footedly forward towards Hein and the dance
floor.

“Of course I will.” she
smiles waiting the escort to spin around the floor with this finest of
gentle men. Feeling slightly light headed, and tingling all over to his
offer.

Chandrea slipped into the reception hall, brushing the sawdust and
curls of wood from her hair. She cursed gently under her breath, "Why didn't I pay better attention to the time? Why was I
working on that stupid boat for so long?" She sighed and as she
looked around the room at all the beauty, she could see that her clothes
are a bit rougher than the gowns on the other women in the room.
Ducking behind one of the other guests, Chandrea tried to make her way
over to the wall where she can observe everyone, hopefully without being
observed herself.
