The long winding road to the castle church.



Entering in the grand Cathedral the overwhelming brilliance shines in true brightness.

Marzy quickly enters the church. Pausing slightly to bow her head in a quick prayer to the joy her friends were now having. Raising her head she looked up nervously around the church to make sure the events decorations were in place.

“The order has done well in preparing the church. Island will be so happy when she arrives.” she softly mumbles before going forth to make sure everything else is in order before eventually taking a pew.

(events are now opening so people may take their seats when ready. Welcome all to islandbabe and Malions wedding. This is to allow those who are in different time zones to be able to attend.- Marzy)

Rook enters the chapel solemnly, but without
fanfare. In one hand, he carries a crosier and in the other he carries a
small punk of burning cedar. With this, he lights a single candle,
makes the sign of the cross and then places the smoldering twig within a
silver censer.

As guests begin to enter, he takes his position
and bows his head, patiently waiting for the wedding party to arrive.

"LLOP" Moondancer and Nightwish were pulled to a stop, and Llop
jumped off the carriage, went around, and helped Caitilin descend. He
gave the reins to a stable hand, tipped him to properly brush and care
for the horses, and offered his arm to Caitilin. They walked to the
Church's doors and entered.

The decoration was wonderful. A
flowery aroma was mixed with a more churchish smell of cedar. Seeing
his friend Rook, Llop kissed Caitilin tenderly on the cheek and excused
himself for a minute. Then he greeted Rook.

"How are
you, my friend? It has been a good while since I last saw you. I'm glad
to meet you again."

Malion walks to the front of the church and stands by Brother Rook. He
shifts nervously from one leg to the other. After checking his tux for
the hundredth time he turns his attention once more to where Babe was to
enter. He couldn’t wait to see Babe’s beautiful dress, which had been
carefully hidden from him for quite some time. He was sure it would look
wonderful on Babe.

Mady arrives in the chapel, in the beautiful dress Archy made for
her. She gives Mal a silent hug, and then walks towards the altar to
wait for Babe, and smiles to Rook and Llop. "The bride is on her way, as
I understand" she says and looks towards the door. Instead of the
bride, she sees Furnace enter, and smiles warmly as she nods to him to
come near...

Standing just outside the entrance to the church I feel my knees
start to bevel, my heart races. The music switches to Return to
Innocence I move Lem over into position sending him down the aisle
gently remind to walk slowly. Lem takes the pillows looking up at me
ask: “What if I drop it” I smile answer: “You are going to be fine.”



As I watch Lem take his first step with all
the eyes upon he hesitates turning looking back I whisper, “Look ahead
Malion is there waiting on you.” Lem turns he now can see Malion
standing at the alter and moves forward. As Lem is half way up the
aisle I turn to Saph give her a hug and she appears from the darkness
into the light of well light church.

Then Mady and I hug and she
makes her way up the aisle.

I smile to Trisalene; a tear slips
from my eye as we hug. Then she makes her way up the aisle.

I
turn to James almost our turn brother. Moonfire rushes into the
building with her basket of flowers. I hug her sigh thankfully that she
made it. Moonfire slowly moves up the aisle dropping mix colored rose
peddles on the red liner.

I put my arm over James the music
switches tempo and we approach the opening ….. I pause turning to James
…. Smiling I whisper “I am ready.”



James and I appear around the corner into the
light our steps are unison, my hands begin to sweat and I can feel my
legs becoming weak. James senses my nervousness and asks if I am
alright. His hand tightens around mine as he helps hold me up.



We get closer my eyes focus on Malion; he is a
enchantment to see standing there in his tux. I think to myself what a
handsome man he is and how auspicious I am to be marrying him today.

James
and I reach the alter I turn to him giving him a hug then turn see that
Malion’s hand is extended I place my hand into his step over standing
to his left. I then turn to Trisalene my Maid of Honor hand her my
bouquet of flowers. We remain holding hands I feel his nervousness as
Brother Rook starts the ceremony.

Thefurnace enters the chapel, hoping he is not late. He looks
around to see if anyone noticed his arrival or not. He looks up towards
the front of the chapel and the person who first catches his eye is
Mady. He raises an arm to wave and yell at Mady but catches himself, and
quickly shoots his arm to his side and moves to the front of the chapel
to sit as close to where Mady was standing as possible.

Mfe hurries through a side door to stand
beside Malion. He hoped he wasn't too late. His last little joke took
longer then he had thought it would. He patted Malion on the back and
watched as Babe walked down the aisle.

Malion stands perfectly still as he watch's Babe walk down the aisle. He
found himself speechless at her vivid beauty. And the dress, it was
something to see. It was well worth the wait. He thought he felt someone
pat his shoulder but he was so entranced by Babe that he barely even
noticed Mfe enter. He takes Babe's hand in his, smiles at her briefly,
then turns to Brother Rook

After having come walking up herself,
Trisalene stands at the end of the aisle and smiles to Babe in her
beautiful wedding gown as she comes into view and approaches. She feels a
lump grow in her throat at the thought of what her very dear friend
must be feeling at this moment. Tris stands silently and watches,
clutching her flowers.

Patan had arrived at the church much too early when nobody was around,
so she took a turn around the churchyard, trying to be careful not to
stain the lovely dress that Archy made. Now she returns to the door,
but everyone seems to have arrived...oh no, she is late, the bride is
already here and walking up the aisle. Oh Babe looks lovely in her
dress, and Malion is very handsome in his nice tux.

Feeling
disappointed and annoyed with herself for not having been in the church
well before the bride arrived, Patan slips quietly into a pew at the
back of the chapel, hoping not to disturb the proceedings, as Brother
Rook begins to speak.

Watching silently from her pew as her friends one at a time began to
enter the church. She smiled upon the creativeness of they attire.
Carrying a small bundle she gets up and strolls over to Rook.

“As promised my dear.” she grins pushing the
package into his arms. “One can change over there.”
she points towards a nice secretive spot for him to put his
pants back on. Not really sure why as he was more than knowledgable to
this church.

Giggling she waves to everyone who has entered.
Before returning to the pew to watch the wedding progress. Noting how
fine Islands gown was upon her voluptuous body. Thinking how lucky that
Malion was to have landed that fish.

The mare stopped in front of the church and Shad jumped down, patting
the dark brown mane of his loyal friend. He gave himself a look and
wiped the dust off them, then proceeded to move towards the entrance.
This was the place his friend had been working on, for the happy couple
today. He wondered what Marzena had arranged for them and almost
chuckled thinking about it.

He was soon at the door, hesitating
for a moment, trying to decide if it was appropriate for him to be there
or not. The second passed and Shad shook his head, removing that
thought and stepped inside. And indeed, the church looked better than he
had expected. He nodded to the people gathered and watched the bride
walking towards the altar.

Looking around, he spotted his friend
and silently walked toward her, trying not to attract attention and not
disturb anyone.

Rook looks up from his meditations, and sees that everyone is
assembled.

Smiling warmly, he begins,

Dearly beloved,
we are gathered together here in the sight of Almighty Jah and in the
presence of one another to join together this Man and this Woman in Holy
Matrimony.

In baptism we are all joined together in the
Aristotlian Friendship. However, in marriage this Friendship becomes
incarnate. It is a Friendship that cannot be broken, and is second only
to our Friendship with God.

Therefore, if any man can give just
cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak,
or else
hereafter for ever hold his peace...

Rook looks at
the guests and at the door...

Rushing back to the church after changing her gown, Frosty glances
around and spots Marzy she quietly walks over to the pew and sits down
by her trying not to disturb the ceremony in progress.

Looking
towards the alter at the Bride and Groom, Frosty comments how beautiful
the Bride is and how handsome the Groom looks. She does not know them
that well but can see how much Love they have for one another.

Hearing no objection, let us begin with a
profession of our faith as expressed in the Aristotelian Creed:

I
believe in Jah, the all powerful Father,
Creator of the Sky and the
Earth,
Hell and Paradise,
Judge of our heart until the hour of
death.

And in Aristotle, the prophet,
The son of Nicomaque
and Phaetis,
Sent to teach wisdom
And the divine laws of the
Universe to straying men.

I also believe in Christ,
Son of
Mary and Joseph.
Who dedicated His life to show us the way to
Paradise.

right-hand side of the Father.

Revan slowly opened the door to the hall. Oh Jah, she thought, they
started already. She tried to quickly yet silently move up the
side of the church in order to not disrupt the ceremony and to sit next
to Marzena, who insisted that she attend (even though she did not know
the bride and groom).

However, to make up for this fact, she had a
few barrels of her father's coveted chardonnay standing by, ready to be
delivered to the reception once it begun, along with another present
for the bride and groom.

She slid into the pew next to Frosty and
Marzena, wearing a gown she had borrowed from one of the beautiful
abandoned wardrobe's in Lord Heinrich's castle.

Looking at Brother Rook then to Malion, I
go to speak, I have no voice. I lower my head then look back up into
Malion's eyes. His sparkling grey eyes always bring a calm over me. I
hold both of his hands within mine turn look back to Brother Rook say:

I

reflection on Love from the seventh chapter of The Book of Creation.

Part VII: Love God did not answer the creature that had defended the domination of the strong over the weak. He turned to another group of creatures. It was precisely that group composed of the mankind, which had traversed the world. God knew that this group was believed rejected by Him. These humans thought of being deprived of any talent. They believed themselves to be the deviants of creation because of their alleged inferiority. But, among them, the human one, which carried the name of Oane, held, though without being sure, the answer to the question raised by the Most High. Because Oane doubted, he often looked at the stars, hoping to see God. He loved God with a sincere love, but did not know if that were the true direction of all life. It wanted to give its answer well, but its group regarded it as weak spirited and nobody wanted to let it speak. But God was omniscient. He had listened to the group of humans complaining. Before she got to her pew she had been beginning to sit. Out of the
corner of her eye as her head tilted slightly Marz caught Shad appear
from the corner of her eye. Her face lit up like a kid opening that long
awaited present on Christmas morn. Quickly and eagerly she patted the
seat next to her and wiggled about excitedly for him to join her.

Once
he came over she popped an arm around his shoulder smiling wildly. “I am glad you showed my old friend.” seeing Rook
beginning to perform the ceremony. An seeing that his pants are firmly
in place again. She makes a note to herself to not remove his name from
her list. Dispite the fact he has his pants again.

Seeing Frosty
slipping in next to her she nods to how well the groom and bride looks.
Introducing her friend Shaddowccaster. Knowing she wouldn’t know him.
She notes again how lovely Frosty looks. Does this woman ever have an
off day on appearance?

Rushing in quietly was Revan. The master
artist just as well blessed with fine looks as well as a pencil. Marzy
smiles waving her over. The group sit watching the ceremony proceed.

Hearing
rook announce for objections she awaits any who would dare. As she
would personally love to escort them out. Not seeing any she relaxed
with her friends again.

My heart beats faster as I await for
Brother Rook to continue my eyes remain focused on Malions.

Malion tried to pay attention to Brother Rooks reading but he found his
mind wandering. He looks lovingly into Babe’s eyes and smiles as he
remembers when he first met her and their first dance. He squeeze’s
Babe’s hands and waits for Brother Rook to begin.
